Here’s the video of Lila Johnson, who tried everything to lose the extra weight she put on after menopause (she’s 66 years old). She lost 27.2 pounds in the first 37 days (this video was taken BEFORE she finished the full round - she’s still going, actually). She admits to learning her lesson about red meat as she discusses weeks 2 and 3 and what happened after she fixed that error:

A nurses assistant who is 52 years of age and has lost 120 LBS by her own effort with her own diet and exercise had told me that some of these remedies can be bad for your liver and/or kidneys? what if any information do you have regarding such effects short or long term? I am still buying the product based on the evidence you have shown but would like to be as knowledgeable as I can when it comes to my health:)

Hi VMS,
I have not heard of anything like this being bad for the liver/kidneys, but you would need to listen to whatever your doctor tells you – I’m not an expert on homeopathy. I would rather you be healthy than get my product if you or your doctor think it would cause you a problem.

How AWESOME!!! Great job Lyla! I like that you shared the inches too, not just the weight loss. That helps encourage me.

I wish that the before photos would be wearing close fitting clothes, just like the after ones do; we could not get as good a look at the before to judge where and how things changed for the obvious better !
Me, I have lost 13 in 13 on hcg

My hunger lasted longer than I wanted…but it was not bad at all. I did eat the allowed melba toast with the meals but soon cut that out; that was carbs I did not need anymore and I was not hungry like at first. Now, I force food down. I am no longer hungry as such, just kinda bored and know that this is but a passing trial I shall overcome! 13 in 13 so far

Great Job. You seem so positive. I just received my spray and cannot wait to start it. I have a big event this weekend so I am waiting for Monday to start the routine. I m plannong on going shopping today to stock up on apples, all kinds so i wont get bored…I am allergic to shellfish but I am trying to shop for fish alternatives that qualify. I bought a good scale but it doesnt seem to be working correctly. I think when i go to the market i will have the fish dept give me only 3 ounces of fish, take it home and see if the scale weighs it correctly….or just spend another $25 to buy another one….

I am on day 11 and have already lost 15 pounds. This stuff is great. I still get a little hungry. I think it’s because I’m bored with the food and have to make myself eat it. I was a bread and potato junkie before so I miss my carbs. The results have been so good though that I am very motivated.

In the first week my wife and I have both lost 14 lbs each. Not hungry at all. Pigging out the first two days before starting the diet made a huge difference I think. Now that we're used to the diet, we're going to start exercising daily on the treadmill. Miss the carbs as well but only psychologically. Really great to see such fast results – keeps us excited and motivated.

Go Lila!! I am so happy to see someone with similar circumstances to me. I read in Dr Simeons book that menopausal women in their first year tended to rebound the weight but i am seeing now that even us oldies can get it off like everyone else! I haven't started yet. I had company coming and that has been delayed til Mar 3 so I will be devoting myself to the program from the 9th onward. I am really looking forward to it! Lila, please keep posting, i am very interested in how you do on the maintenance portion. Again, Congrats!

Hi:
Well I just finished using the hcg drops first. Lost 16 pounds in 20 days. This made me happy. Taking 3 weeks off and then starting on the spray. Can't wait to see if the spray works better. So glad there is a support group to talk to. I will be up dating as soon as I get going the end of the First Week of March.

To Erica, or anyone who can answer this question, do you have to eat the same foods everyday for 43 days? Is that why Erica was so bored with her food? Or can you just follow different menus and avoid as much added sugar and carbs as much as possible?

You vary the foods, but the food choices are VERY limited, so it takes some creativity. Read pages 18 & 19 in Pounds & Inches for what foods are allowed.

I too am post menopause and thought that I was stuck being fat. I just got the spray four days ago and have already lost 8 pounds. My goal is 35 pounds, so we'll see how close I get. I was shocked at the load days cause I gained an extra 2 pounds. I lost that 2 pounds plus the 8 in only 4 days. I will admit that I was walking 2-4 miles a day before I started using the spray and have continued. Not really hungry or shaky like I thought I might be but have experienced some fatigue on day 2 of the spray. My 100 grams of protein is weighed after I cook it because with exercise I needed the extra calories. Whew…. a gallon of water is a lot. I do good to get 1/2 – 3/4 gallon in me.
